About the event
YOUR TOWN. YOUR STORIES. OUR BOOK.
Our Town Our Story is opening its doors for its first public community storytelling event.
Every place is full of stories. Some are funny. Some are moving. Some have been passed down through families. Others happened last Tuesday. And some are still waiting to be discovered.
Come along and find out what makes a story worth telling — and how your story could become part of the books we are creating about our community.
We’ll explore where stories come from, the many different ways they can be told, and the kinds of stories we’re looking for. You’ll discover how words and art work together to bring a story to life, meet members of the project and hear more about the books we’re going to create.
And, most importantly, we want to hear from you.
